How to open an indicator for debugging?

Postby PipGrabber » Thu Nov 24, 2011 1:15 am

Hi,

How to use that Indicator Debugger of Indicore SDK? When I'll try to open an indicator file. It always say "No one indicator is found", even if you have not chosen an indicator yet. Is it only for "check performance"? not a real debugger? Thanks.

You can debug only those indicators that are stored in the indicators folder (the default path "C:\Gehtsoft\IndicoreSDK\indicators").
To debug an indicator, you must move it into the indicators folder.

Hi Sunshine,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes, it works now when placed on the indicator folder. I was placing them in the subfolder standard or custom. Thanks!

p.s. the debugger does not point to the problematic line of code or what or give any useful information where the problem is. It just says indicator can't be created (not much info) unlike other debuggers where it would point to where the error is and give an appropriate error code.
