GSI

Postby Silverthorn » Sun Nov 10, 2019 7:13 pm

I remember looking at and playing with an indicator here on FXcodebase some time ago that was similar to the now unsupported Grid Sight Index.

I don't seem to have it in my archives and after searching I can't find it.

It took recent price action and compared it to historic data and then plotted a most common next historic price movement on the chart based on the actions of the past.

Can anyone tell me what it was?

Cheers!!

Hi Apprentice,

That's not it. But it is very interesting. From what I see it's a very useful for identifying support and resistance zones.

What I am remembering functioned more like Alexanders Nearest Neighbour indicator by checking historic patterns.

But I remember one that plotted the outcomes in probabilities on the right side of the chart like the CSI.

It is very possible I am confused and am remembering the late CSI..
